Highest Nature

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY (Post-Production)

Highest Nature weaves a patient character study of extreme interspecies relationships and niche conservation education in the work of two falconers. As they perform with, train, and care for their birds of prey, they negotiate the blurry lines between entertainment and education, captivity and wildness. Through poignant cinéma vérité, Highest Nature attunes audiences to hyper-intimate and collaborative human-bird relationships rarely seen with such sensitivity on film.
